When is Fall Fest with STEAM?Saturday, November 7, 2026. The morning forum begins at 11:00 AM in the Main Cathedral at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church.
Where is the event?Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church, 3826 Wheeler Avenue, Houston, TX 77004. Start with the Main Cathedral forum, then use the exhibit itinerary to explore the campus.
- Where will the exhibits be?
Exhibits are planned in the Christian Education Center (CEC) and Community Life Center, including the gym. Individual room assignments will be announced. Prairie View’s humanoid robot, robot dog and robotic arm will be together in one room.
What time does the event end?The event end time and detailed exhibit schedule will be announced. The confirmed opening forum begins at 11:00 AM.
Can I register a family or a group?Individual and family registration and a separate group registration option are planned. Registration instructions and any group requirements will be posted when confirmed.
Is there an admission or registration fee?Admission and registration pricing will be announced. Please check this page for confirmed details before planning your visit.
What can we explore?Planned exhibits include Space Center Houston activities, Houston Museum of Natural Science’s Discovery Dome, Prairie View A&M robotics and Texas Southern University aviation. See the itinerary for each experience.
- What does STEAM mean?
STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Fall Fest brings these areas together through discovery, demonstrations and family experiences.
- Will the Discovery Dome show be about dinosaurs?
The final Discovery Dome program has not been confirmed. Dinosaur-themed artwork is part of the design concept and does not confirm the selected show.
- Are there age or participation requirements?
Requirements may vary by activity, especially VR and dome experiences. Follow the presenting organization’s instructions. Final participation details will be posted when confirmed.
- Where should we park?
Event parking, drop-off and entrance instructions will be posted when confirmed. The campus overview identifies general parking areas; it does not reserve spaces or specify the event arrival route.
What accessibility information is available?Accessible entrances, routes and accommodation contact details are being confirmed. These will be added to the visitor information before the event.
- Can children wear costumes?
The event’s costume theme is family-friendly and appropriate for a church gathering. Please avoid horror-movie characters. Additional costume guidance, if needed, will be posted.
- Will food be available?
Food, refreshments and any related costs have not yet been confirmed. Details will be added when available.
How can our organization partner with Fall Fest?We welcome expressions of interest in supporting STEAM discovery. Partnership categories, arrangements and the event contact will be announced. No sponsorship package or benefits are promised at this stage.
- How will exhibit check-ins and the Dell computer raffle work?
Exhibit QR check-ins and a Dell computer raffle are planned. Participation rules, eligibility, point requirements and drawing details will be announced before the program launches.
- Where can I ask for help or find a lost item?
Information and lost-and-found locations will be announced. During the event, ask a volunteer for directions to the appropriate help center.
